The Hotel America has 100 rooms, totally refurbished in 2004, with en-suite bathrooms, play station and all modern amenities.

Excellent central location

Suposed to be non smoking, but as a non smoker, I could esily detect residual smoke if indeed this hotel was cleansed of smoke

the hotel's location is very nice, easy walking to all main points. Availability of wifi was very useful for us.

The staff did not speak or refused to speak any English and were quite unhelpful with simple things such as directing us to the underground parking located directly in front of the hotel (the most expensive we ever had to pay our our trip) or even routing phone calls from reception to the room. The room itself was ok, but far from thrilling.

The price was exelent and location was great, didnt understand that play station-pad though.. personel had a good sence humour

Central situation, just in the city center

The parking facilities are not hotel facilities, but a public underground park, with the inconvenience of a maxim car high of 1,90 m. In the surrounding area is hard to park due the narrow streets. This handicap is not clear in the hotel information in the web site.

Almost everything. Air conditioning worked fine (and was very important, at 8.00 pm temperature was 41°C outside!!), bathroom was large, the room nice and almost clean. It had also a minibar with good pricing.

Hard to reach with car, it's very close to the city centre and the square of the address was closed to traffic. Maybe some furnitures were a bit old

The room is large with a nice furniture style. The hotel is in the center of the city, very close to the main monuments, in front of a nice square and the shopping area.

No hairdryer.

Good policy about children's stay. Room was clean. Stuff was friendly, some could speak English, some couldn't, but everyone was trying to be very helpful. Proximity of public parking, but we managed to park in the street, 20 meters far from the hotel.

the room was extremely clean and there was free internet access

the fact that the hotel said it had parking available then when we arrived we were informed that we had to park in the underground public car park, which is fine but we have quite a big car and the spaces are tiny. There was also a smell of cigarette smoke throughout the hotel.
